Summary: Responsible for running a variety of CNC machines and help enhance the productivity of our organization. Will perform work quality checks and monitor machine output each hour and generate comprehensive reports for management.
Requirements:

2+ years’ experience working for a manufacturing business

Ability to lift up to 30+ lbs.

Extensive knowledge of machine and operation required.

Mechanical aptitude and strong basic math skills

Proven history of working with gauges and calipers as CNC Operator

Actions are normally determined by specific instructions from the supervisor or by following well-defined procedures, methods, and practices.
CNC Operator Responsibilities:

Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production

Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.

Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications

Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company

Follow all company safety protocol

Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift

Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions
