Job Description
As a Line Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering great food and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll prepare menu items to recipe standards, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and work alongside the kitchen team to ensure guests receive quality food in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock workstations before each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure all food is cooked and plated consistently
- Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock
- Assist with food prep, receiving deliveries, and closing duties
- Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining quality
- Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required
