Scrubora operates local cleaning services across multiple brands on the Gulf Coast, from Destin to St. George Island and beyond. We handle private home cleaning, vacation rental turnovers, commercial cleaning, and post-construction cleans for new homes. This is W-2 employment, meaning real payroll with taxes handled correctly, not 1099 or cash. We're a growing local operation with a crew of 20+ cleaners, not a faraway franchise, and we're looking for experienced people who take this work seriously and want to earn for being good at it.
This role is seasonal and part-time, mostly on the weekends.
Who we're looking for
Experienced cleaners who can crush the work. If you already know how to turn a property fast and to a high standard, you'll fit here and you'll earn more for it. We pair newer hires with a lead cleaner who runs the route and checks the work, but the people who move up quickest are the ones who already bring speed, detail, and reliability on day one.
The work
Day to day you could move between four kinds of jobs:
- Private homes: regular residential cleaning for homeowners. Kitchens, baths, bedrooms, and living areas done to a high standard, on a recurring or one-time basis.
- Vacation rental turnovers: clean and sanitize kitchens, baths, bedrooms, and living areas to a guest-ready standard; strip and reset linens and beds; restock and stage the property before the next guest checks in.
- Construction cleans: final clean on newly built homes, including dust and debris removal, cleaning windows and fixtures, and removing stickers and labels from windows and appliances to get the house move-in ready. This is physical, dusty work on active job sites.
- Commercial cleaning: offices and similar spaces, scheduled around the turnover and construction work.
Across all of it: hit a high bar on detail, and report damage or anything missing so it gets flagged before handoff.
What we need from you
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Jobs are spread across the coast, so this is essential, not a nice-to-have.
- Schedule flexibility. Turnovers cluster on guest checkout days; expect weekends and holidays in season.
- Detail and pride. You leave a property spotless or it goes back on the punch list.
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift through a shift, in summer heat and on dusty job sites.
- Dependable. Show up when scheduled.
- 18+ (required for construction sites, no exceptions).
Pay
$20 to $30 per hour on a regular W-2 payroll schedule, depending on experience. On top of hourly, experienced cleaners who can crush the work earn commission. The faster and cleaner you turn properties to standard, the more you take home. We reward people who move fast without cutting corners.
