Shift
- A schedule: Sunday, Monday Tuesday Wednesday
- B schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
12 hours shift but on Wednesday it is a 6-hour shift , weekly total of 42 hours a week.
Will have 3 days off.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, as a Quality Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring our product meet the required standard and specifications. This role supports production by conducting inspections, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to cost control and overall plant profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform test evaluations on material, inspections; assist in process capabilities studies.
- Perform first article reports this includes full-dimensional evaluations if required.
- Perform in-house calibrations and coordinate outside calibration services to measuring instruments in accordance with work instructions.
- Assist the Quality Manager in CAPA investigations to include the documentation of Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions and Effectiveness Checks.
- Investigate internal quality issues per Quality manager’s request.
- Provide inspection support and training to production personnel.
- Perform any other special assignments as directed by Quality Manager
Key performance Indicators(KPIs)
- Support reduction of scrap costs by 5% annually.
- Ensure proper segregation of unconventional materials to prevent costly mix-ups.
- Minimize unnecessary material disposal through accurate inspection.
- Decrease internal defect rate annually by 10%

Required Qualifications
- Education: Highschool Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1 to 2 Years of related mechanical & visual inspection of Plastic Injection Molded products.
Physical Requirements
Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
