We are seeking a dedicated and energetic DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Clinician & Skills Group Facilitator to join our dynamic mental health team. Position Summary
The DBT Clinician provides comprehensive DBT services consistent with the Linehan treatment model.
This position includes facilitating weekly DBT Skills Training Groups while maintaining an individual therapy caseload.
The clinician actively participates in consultation meetings and contributes to maintaining program fidelity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) principles and techniques, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and ethical guidelines.
- Facilitate engaging skills training groups focused on core DBT modules such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case records using EMR/EHR systems.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral distress, ensuring safety and appropriate referrals.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through research updates, supervision sessions, and training on trauma-focused therapy, co-occurring disorders, and other specialized areas.

Caseload Expectations
Maintain:
12–20 active DBT clients

Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related mental health field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or License Eligible Master’s Level Clinician
- Proven experience delivering evidence-based therapies such as DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or trauma-focused therapy.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 TR/ICD-10 coding for diagnostic evaluations and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering therapy via telehealth is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations.
- Ability to manage crisis situations with professionalism and compassion while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.

Pay: $26.17 - $31.52 per hour
