Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients across various care settings.
- Perform therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques tailored to patient needs.
- Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately following clinical documentation standards.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, progress, and home exercise programs.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in physical therapy treatment implementation within inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facility, or home health environments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy.
- Skilled in clinical assessment documentation and maintaining high standards of medical documentation accuracy.
- Proficiency in medical equipment operation and electronic health records (EHR) management systems.
- Experience with manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interaction; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics; inpatient or acute care experience is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
