Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience from start to finish
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise or services
- Upsell products or services by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options
- Manage inventory levels to maintain an organized guest environment
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
- Support store operations by assisting with inventory management, product displays, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
- Weekend Availability is a must.
Experience
- Previous experience inhospitality, retail sales, grocery stores, or customer service roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or leading small groups during shifts
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with guests confidently
- Basic math skills, including retail math and cash handling, are necessary for accurate transactions
- Familiarity with using POS systems and cashiering procedures will help you succeed in this role
- Experience conducting product demos or upselling can enhance your ability to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
