Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running CNC laser equipment, including tube lasers, Cincinnati lasers, and Amada lasers, and is comfortable working in a physically demanding shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut metal parts to specification
- Operate tube laser, Cincinnati laser, and Amada laser machines
- Accurately measure materials and finished parts using a tape measure
- Operate various power tools as needed to complete fabrication tasks
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience running a CNC laser
- Experience operating a tube laser
- Experience operating a Cincinnati laser
- Experience operating an Amada laser
- Proficient in using a tape measure
- Experience operating power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
- Comfortable operating heavy machinery and powertools.
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
