Job Title: Armed Security Guard
Position Overview: We are seeking reliable, professional, and licensed Armed Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our personnel, guests, and property. The ideal candidate maintains a high level of vigilance, strong conflict-deescalation skills, and a professional demeanor at all times.
Work Schedule & Shifts
- Friday: 1 Guard needed | 10:00 PM – 2:30 AM (22:00 – 02:30)
- Saturday: 2 Guards needed | Shift options starting at 9:00 PM / 10:00 PM – 2:30 AM (21:00/22:00 – 02:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, armed security presence to deter illegal or unauthorized activities.
- Access control: Monitor entry/exit points and check credentials or passes as required.
- Patrol premises regularly to prevent security breaches, vandalism, or trespassing.
- Rapidly respond to incidents, emergencies, or disruptive behavior using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Coordinate effectively with team members and local law enforcement when necessary.
- Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports as needed.
- Check ID's of patrons entering.
- Checking patrons personal items for any unlawful contraband not allowed on premises per policy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Armed Security Officer License/Permit (in accordance with state/local regulations).
- Valid firearm permit and ownership of an approved firearm/gear.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication, situational awareness, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work weekend late-night hours.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 per week
