Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic
Location: Shelby Township, Michigan (with offices in the Tri County)
Employment Type: Full-Time with Flexible Schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on a variety of small engines and equipment used in lawn and landscape services.
- Diagnose and repair issues with the fleet, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Work independently or collaboratively with a team to address maintenance and repair tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and schedule equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic.
- Knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair small engine problems efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility in working independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and able to lift 50lbs or more.
