The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's human resources functions. This position will be responsible for providing a wide range of HR services, including employee relations and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns related to policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, including complaints and disciplinary actions as assiged by HR Manager.
- Assist with the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and training.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement activities.
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files and timekeeping.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and reports.
- Support HR initiatives and projects as needed not limited to event planning
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired.
- 2-3 years of experience in a human resources role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 1+ years ADP and/or Payroll experience strongly desired.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work day shift for orientation, training, and as needed to cover HR needs required.
Software Proficiency:
- Microsoft Excel (Basic formulas)
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Working Conditions:
This position requires physical exertion. The employee will regularly walk and frequently stand, walk, reach, or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

- Payroll processing: 2 years (Required)
