Arbor Associates is seeking dedicated Early Education Teachers who are passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments for young children. This role involves supporting the holistic development of preschool-aged children by fostering their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in a classroom setting. The hours for this role are 9:00 am - 5:45 pm.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging daily activities and curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of young children.
Promote positive child development in all areas by:
Encouraging play-based learning and ensuring effective supervision.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment.
Assisting with daily routines, including toileting, toilet training, and diapering as needed.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Participate in professional development through relevant training sessions, workshops, and classes.
Assist in planning, executing, and evaluating classroom activities.
Adapt to classroom needs, collaborating with co-workers and supporting management to maintain operational effectiveness.
Ensure consistent attendance and reliability.

Ability to establish routines, set clear expectations, and manage a supportive learning environment.

Preschool Teacher to oversee classroom instruction, guide teaching staff, and ensure a high-quality early learning environment. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, combining hands-on teaching with curriculum ownership and classroom leadership. The Teacher partners closely with program leadership to support children’s development, maintain compliance, and build strong family relationships.
Requirements:
Completion of the 12 hour EEC 2.0 Strong Start training - We can help!
EEC (Early Education and Care) Certification is required.
Level 1 Teacher: EEC Preschool Certification + at least 12 college credits in relevant courses
Level 2 Teacher: EEC Lead Preschool Certification + Bachelor's degree in ECE
Level 3 Teacher: EEC Lead Preschool Certification + Bachelor's degree in ECE + Master's degree in ECE
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience working with children, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Proficient in English communication skills.
Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education standards.
Prior teaching experience is a plus.
Ability to work effectively with children individually and in groups, and to communicate well with adults, including parents and colleagues.
