Overview
Holland Park West Event Center is seeking energetic, professional, and customer-focused Servers/Busser to join our event hospitality team. As an Event Center Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service during weddings, corporate events, galas, quinceañeras, birthday parties, and other special occasions.
You will be responsible for providing outstanding food and beverage service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout each event.
- Serve plated meals, buffet items, appetizers, desserts, and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Set up banquet tables, chairs, linens, glassware, flatware, and event stations before guest arrival.
- Refill beverages, clear tables, and maintain a clean and organized event space during service.
- Follow banquet service timelines and work closely with the Event Captain, Banquet Manager, and kitchen staff.
- Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and room resets after events.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and special dietary needs.
- Work as part of a team to ensure seamless execution of weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, and private events.
- Maintain a polished appearance and represent Holland Park West with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Fine dining or banquet service experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends (Required), and holidays.
