Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Support Specialist II to provide high-level legal and administrative support within a collaborative Legal Resource Center. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide advanced legal support to attorneys, including drafting and formatting pleadings, briefs, and complex legal documents.
- Prepare tables of contents, tables of authorities, cross-references, and manage Track Changes in Microsoft Word.
- Handle federal court filings, including PACER PRO submissions and deadline tracking.
- Support billing, invoicing, calendar management, and critical legal deadlines.
- Maintain Bar and Court admissions records and CLE tracking.
- Mentor and support Legal Support Specialist I team members.
- Collaborate within a fast-paced shared services legal support environment.
What You’ll Need to be Considered:
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Labor & Employment Litigation or Education Law experience.
- Experience supporting attorneys in a mid-to-large law firm environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including TOC, TOA, cross-referencing, and document formatting.
- Experience with PACER PRO and federal court e-filing.
- Familiarity with legal billing and client invoicing processes.
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage complex legal deadlines.
