Medical Records Clerk
Our personal injury law firm is looking for a full-time Medical Records Clerk. Although not required, knowledge of personal injury cases and experience in medical records, billing, and liens is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Request, track, and manage medical records and bills from healthcare providers
- Review and organize medical records for personal injury cases
- Handle medical billing, liens, and correspondence with providers and lienholders
- Follow up on outstanding records, bills, and balances
- Maintain accurate and organized client files
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Support attorneys and case managers as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a medical records clerk or similar role in a personal injury law firm (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional communication skills
- Punctual, reliable and a team player
- Detail oriented
Starting pay of $19.50 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience. There is also a potential for additional benefits.
