2nd Shift Machine Operator
We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our second-shift production team. This hands-on position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring products meet quality and production requirements.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Overtime hours as business dictates
- Approximately 40 hours per week
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment
- Review job tickets and follow job-specific instructions
- Load materials and prepare equipment for production runs
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Make basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues
- Accurately record production counts, waste, and other required information
- Complete changeovers and maintain proper line clearance between jobs
- Keep equipment and the surrounding work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Assist in other production areas as business needs require
Qualifications:
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the full scheduled shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
- Ability to read measurements and follow written instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move production materials
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
