Responsibilities

- Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student development and attendance.
- Lead activities that foster childhood development in areas such as motor skills, cognitive growth, language acquisition, and social skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that integrate play-based learning and developmental milestones.
- Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR to ensure a safe classroom environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum plans that include literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or preschool teaching are advantageous.
