Ice Cream Production Specialist (Part-Time)

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour, based on knowledge and experience.
Do you have experience making premium, small-batch ice cream? Bjorn's Colorado Honey is looking for an experienced Ice Cream Production Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in consistency and cleanliness, and has a passion for creating high-quality products.
Our handcrafted ice cream is made using our local signature Colorado honey and served in our Boulder store location. We're looking for someone who can consistently produce exceptional ice cream while maintaining a clean and organized production space.
Responsibilities
- Produce small-batch ice cream by accurately following company recipes.
- Prepare ingredients and operate ice cream production equipment safely.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and quality.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment and the production area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate production needs.
- Contribute creative, seasonal or consistent ice cream flavor ideas that align with the Bjorn's Colorado Honey brand.
Qualifications
- Previous ice cream production experience is required.
- Experience in commercial food production or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Ability to follow equipment safety protocols.
Schedule
- Part-time.
- One to two full production days per week (approximately 8–10 hours per day).
- Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate.
