Job Description
Saint Theresa of Avila School is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Classroom Aide to support our early childhood educators. This is a full-time position. We are looking for a nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young children in a faith-based learning environment.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities that support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Support students during routines such as arrival, dismissal, snack time, rest time, and bathroom breaks
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning and social skills
- Model appropriate behavior and support the classroom’s behavioral expectations
- Assist with preparing materials and organizing classroom resources as needed
- Uphold and model Catholic values in daily interactions and classroom support
- Follow EEC guideline
