American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level II NICU travel assignment in Washington State, requiring 2 years of NICU experience, Epic proficiency, and an active WA or compact RN license.

Level II NICU in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes neonates 32 weeks gestational age or greater, Level II admissions, and normal newborns
-
Responsibilities include attending vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries

Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps required

Epic EMR used; experience required

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30

Floating between all facilities within the state is required

Active WA RN license or valid compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already hold the applicable skills and competencies

Floating between all Providence facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Minimal RTO is preferred for this position
