Mobile Dental Hygienist — Scranton Area
Direct Mobile Dental is looking for a compassionate and dependable Dental Hygienist who is passionate about improving the lives of elderly patients in assisted living and skilled nursing communities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care, values independence, and is comfortable traveling to facilities in and around the Scranton area to provide hygiene services.
Position
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to travel to assisted living facilities and skilled nursing communities to perform dental cleanings and preventive hygiene care for our long-term patient base.
Responsibilities Include
- Performing dental cleanings/prophies
- Providing oral hygiene care and patient education
- Taking diagnostic X-rays as needed
- Charting oral conditions and hygiene findings
- Applying fluoride and other preventive treatments when appropriate
- Communicating with dentists, facility staff, and patient families as needed
- Maintaining supplies, equipment, and proper infection-control standards
- Providing compassionate care to elderly and special-needs patients
The Qualified Candidate Must Have
- Graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- A caring, professional, and dependable personality
- Comfort working with elderly patients in assisted living and skilled nursing settings
- Ability to travel to facilities in and around the Scranton area
License or Certification
- PA Dental Hygiene License required
