Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and effectively communicate with both patrons and staff.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and garnishes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all food handling and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing bartending services in various settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Uphold the establishment's standards for fine dining service in all interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations and catering is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certification where required by law.
- Previous experience using cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
- A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help others is essential for success in this role.
