Job Title: WCF Cementing Specialist

- Shift: 12.5 hr days plus and 3x3 weekly schedule Hours per Day: 8 Hours per Week: 40
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented specialist to join our client's team in the oil and gas sector. In this role, you will contribute to coordinating and overseeing cementing operations, ensuring service excellence, and promoting safety and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee cementing operations at the well site under general supervision.
- Plan job execution, including crew instructions, equipment requirements, and product needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining service excellence and addressing concerns promptly.
- Direct and manage the activities of equipment operators during job execution.
- Supervise the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for upcoming jobs.
- Perform and verify necessary calculations related to cementing operations at the well site.
- Lead a worksite crew and ensure cohesive teamwork and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate crew performance and provide training to foster continuous improvement of the team.
- Promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility, adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and company guidelines.
- Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process to enhance service delivery and operational outcomes.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's licence (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to give specific direction to personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
- Ability to pass background checks, physical exams, and drug screening.
- Proficient in basic mathematical calculations relevant to field operations.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including long shifts, irregular hours, and on-call availability with short notice.
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and remote field environments.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with cementing operations and equipment.
