JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Payroll Manager supports the administration and execution of payroll operations across multiple Kentucky properties. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for a multi-location workforce. It serves as a key liaison between the Payroll Manager, HR teams, and Finance, providing oversight, auditing, and process consistency while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Payroll processing experience, required.
- Payroll/HRIS software(s) knowledge required. UKG experience, preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
