About the Role: This is a hands-on field position where you'll work directly in the homes of local families, installing energy efficiency improvements that lower their utility bills and make their homes safer and more comfortable. No prior weatherization experience is required — we provide all training and certifications, fully paid by CCA.
What You'll Do
- Install energy efficiency measures including blown insulation, door and window sealing, pipe and water heater wrapping, and other home improvements
- Conduct furnace efficiency tests and pre/post home inspections using blower door technology
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from the work truck daily
- Assist the Crew Chief with maintaining job records including material usage, vehicle mileage, and maintenance logs
- Maintain accurate material inventories
- Travel throughout our service area as needed
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent, OR three or more years of experience in housing repairs or construction
- Basic carpentry skills and general knowledge of home construction
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance meeting Agency standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain client confidentiality
Background Clearances All required background clearances — including FBI fingerprint processing, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and PA State Police Criminal History Clearance — are completed and paid for by CCA as part of the onboarding process.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
