We are seeking a skilled and energetic Fabricator / Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
This schedule supports a strong work-life balance, giving you long weekends to recharge.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and laser welding techniques to join various metals, including sheet metal and ductwork.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools; perform basic math calculations for fabrication accuracy.
- Fabricate components adhering to ASME codes & standards while maintaining quality control throughout the process.
- Assist with pipe threading, soldering, mechanical assembly, and the installation of ductwork or structural elements as needed.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication or welding projects.
- Hands-on expertise with MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; familiarity with laser welding is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and machining tools.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly procedures in construction or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards ensures compliance with safety and quality regulations.
