PTWMSI is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to manage accounting operations and help strengthen the organization’s financial systems. This role will oversee core accounting functions, including financial reporting, grant tracking, and revenue reconciliation, while helping build financial infrastructure to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger and perform monthly close
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, payroll, and revenue
- Track grant funding and ensure proper expense allocation
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting
- Integrate platforms and systems
- Monitor revenue and expenses by program
- Improve accounting workflows and financial processes
- Support financial compliance and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience maintaining general ledger and performing monthly close
- Experience preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Experience performing account reconciliations (bank, payroll, and revenue)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with nonprofit accounting and grant-funded organizations
- Experience with healthcare, Medicaid, or government-funded programs
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CPA candidate, or CPA track preferred but not required
- Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or similar certification preferred
- Experience supporting financial audits or working with external auditors
- Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
