Position Summary
Devil's Canyon Brewing Company is seeking an exceptionally charismatic, outgoing, and engaging Eventhouse Concierge to serve as the face of the brewery during public events and open hours. This is not a traditional host or customer service position. We are looking for someone with a magnetic personality who naturally draws people in, starts conversations effortlessly, and creates memorable experiences for every guest they encounter.
The Eventhouse Concierge is often the first and last person our guests interact with, making them one of the most important ambassadors of the Devil's Canyon brand. The ideal candidate thrives in social environments, genuinely enjoys meeting new people, and possesses the confidence to approach strangers, initiate conversations, and make every guest feel welcome, included, and valued. Whether greeting a first-time visitor, reconnecting with a longtime regular, or engaging a passerby who is simply curious about the brewery, this individual has the ability to turn casual interactions into lasting impressions.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Revenue, the Eventhouse Concierge is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, promoting brewery products and events, gathering customer insights, and ensuring that every person who visits Devil's Canyon leaves thinking, "That was an incredible place with some really great people."
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome every guest who enters the Eventhouse with positivity and enthusiasm, as well as frame their visit to adhere to the brand identity and culture, ensuring a remarkable experience
- Check IDs and apply wristbands appropriately to guests over 21 years of age
- Share brewery news and event agendas with guests
- Always maintain a positive appearance of the front of house with great attention to detail
- Promote and sell merchandise including to-go beverages and other brewery products; provide recommendations based on guests' preferences
- Manage and fulfill pickup orders placed through the online store
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, clients, and exclusive club members
- Direct private reservation guests to appropriate venues of the Eventhouse
- Send departing guests off with positive reinforcement and identify additional conversation points
- Assist with opening and closing protocols for open hours
- Answer incoming phone calls; call back any missed calls as time allows
- Ensure guests receive the highest quality product and service throughout their visit
- Collect data for the Marketing Team verbally by inquiring with guests about the origin of their discovery of the brewery, their experience, and other items and report it at the end of the shift
- Track the number of guests who enter the Eventhouse and report it on the tracking documents
- Develop beer and brewing knowledge with a focus on Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company craft beer, Root Beer, and other products.
Qualifications
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., and performing active tasks including bending, kneeling, and assisting with event-related activities
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and noisy environments with loud to moderate continuous noise
- Must be over 21 years old
- Maintains knowledge of and strictly abides by state liquor regulations and verifies legal drinking age of customers
- Familiarity with Square or equivalent point-of-sale and website system
- Hospitality, Consumer Packaged Goods, and/or Management Experience a huge plus
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- RBS certification a plus, ability to obtain certificate within 30 days of hire.
Job Type: Part-time; Fridays 3:30pm –to 10-11pm
Pay info: $30/hour + tip eligibility
Additional shifts as needed based on private and public event schedule
Pay: $30.00 per hour
