BTL Pallet is one of the largest wood recyclers in Wisconsin. We are looking to hire a maintenance mechanic to maintain and repair semi trailers, forklifts, front-end loaders and industrial machinery. Some important skills we are looking for in a mechanic are, great organization, communication, and ability to preform repairs and diagnose problems in a timely manner.
Job Overview
The maintenance tech is responsible for installation, maintenance , troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilites
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
- Trouble shoot mechanical failures and determine root cause
- Repair or replace bearings, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, pumps, conveyor chains and rollers, and hydraulic componets
- conduct inspections on semi trailers to DOT standard
- Respond to roadside problems with our trailer fleet
- Responsible for maintenance on forklifts, front-end loaders, grinding equipment, and skidsteers
Additional Informations
- 6am start time
- 8-10 hour workdays (Monday thru Friday)
- Must have valid drivers license to use company truck
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
