Middletown Medical, PC is a physician-owned and physician-directed multi-specialty practice, and is looking for an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner/provider interested in working and growing in Neurology. The Neurology department at Middletown Medical provides comprehensive neurological care for disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Their neurologists have expertise in stroke, multiple sclerosis, dementia, epilepsy, migraines and headaches, neurophysiology, neuroimaging, and sleep disorders.
Our Board Certified providers have outstanding expertise in all areas of neurology, with special interests in stroke, multiple sclerosis, dementia, epilepsy, migraines & headaches, neurophysiology, neuroimaging, and sleep disorders. Through Middletown Medical, providers have access to a range of support services to best treat their patients, including our revolutionary Headache & Migraine Center, accredited Sleep Center, Pain Management & Rehabilitation Division, Botox specialists, and more.
There are providers well-trained and experienced in the field to work with, ranging from expertise in Headache, Pediatrics, Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, and Neuropsychiatry.
Subspecialty expertise is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations for neurological conditions.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and support, including managing chronic conditions and medication counseling.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus in Neurology or a related field.
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of NY.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) with a specialization in Neurology (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Neurology or a related field (Preferred).
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neurological disorders (Preferred).
- Licensed to practice in state of NY

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
