Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga in Coalinga, CA. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions that support patient mobility, function, and overall rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out individualized treatment plans

Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility support

Observe and report patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
Requirements:

Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California

Current BLS Certification
