Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team on 30A. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store presentation, assisting with inventory management, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for guests and locals alike. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and purchases.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Restock merchandise and ensure displays are properly maintained.
- Receive, unpack, and price incoming inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns professionally.
- Promote store products, special promotions, and events.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule
