Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on allergy-related conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders
- Perform allergy testing procedures such as skin prick tests and intradermal tests to identify triggers
- Administer allergy immunotherapy injections
- Educate patients on allergy management strategies, medication use, and lifestyle modifications
- Document clinical encounters accurately using EMR systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level program as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Ability to become licensed in Michigan
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
