Responsibilities

- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs.
- Handle food with care, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold excellent food handling practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation processes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is a plus.
