About the Role
As a Team Member at Taylor Fitness, you’re the first point of contact for every member who walks through the door. Your job is to create a friendly, clean, and professional environment where members feel supported, appreciated, and motivated to reach their fitness goals.
This role focuses on great customer service, basic gym operations, cleanliness, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
Position Overview
Team Members help keep the gym running smoothly day-to-day. You’ll greet members, assist with questions, maintain a spotless facility, and support membership sales by offering excellent service and accurate information. You play a key role in delivering the Taylor Fitness experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Greet every member with a positive attitude and friendly energy.
- Learn members' names and build genuine connections.
- Answer questions about memberships, services, and the facility.
- Handle check-ins, phone calls, and basic support with professionalism.
Membership Support & Sales
- Give gym tours and sign up new members using our software.
- Explain promotions and help members choose the right plan.
- Provide accurate, helpful information to encourage membership growth.
Facility Upkeep
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment and common areas throughout every shift.
- Follow the daily cleaning checklist and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies, wipe down surfaces, and ensure the gym always looks its best.
Team & Communication
- Communicate clearly with managers and fellow staff.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Be familiar with all gym equipment and assist members with basic usage questions.
