The Human Resources Director is responsible for setting, administering, and evaluating compliant human resources policies, procedures, best practices and identifying and implementing long range strategic talent management goals. The Human Resources Director will manage HR systems to merge organizational requirements and needs with employee needs and motivation. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for the employee cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, development, and evaluations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other laws, regulations and requirements.
- Maintain Personnel Policy. Collaborate with the executive team to ensure policies are current and best practice.
- Evaluate insurance company and policies annually to ensure best service, coverages, cost and effectiveness for the organization.
- Develops and oversees implementation of recruiting and retention strategies (talent management), processes and tools to ensure the Association attracts and retains high performing talent to support the mission.
- Identifies the competencies leaders must demonstrate to be highly effective leaders and oversees/participates in training/development activities to build leadership competencies.
- Oversees all leaves, benefit management, litigation, and strategic partnerships regarding staff.
- Work directly with the Executive Office on employee issues.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
