Louisiana Controls – Baton Rouge, LA
About This Role
As a Senior/Lead Service Technician at Louisiana Controls, you’re the kind of technician who takes pride in solving challenging problems and helping others learn. You’re confident working with a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment. You enjoy being the go-to person when something doesn’t add up and another tech needs backup.
In this role, you’ll serve as one of our lead field technicians. You’ll support other technicians, communicate findings to the office when needed, and help ensure repairs are diagnosed correctly and efficiently. While you’ll regularly work on chilled water and boiler systems, you’ll also handle a broad mix of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment across many different types of facilities. There is also an opportunity to assist the office and management team in developing training materials, hosting small training classes, and helping to enhance the development of technical knowledge for younger technicians in the field.
Pay is competitive within the market and negotiable, depending on your skill set! There is little to no attic work involved, and we can guarantee that you will go home safely to your family every night.
