As an AC Field Supervisor, you will oversee residential HVAC field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop HVAC field employees to maximize performance and productivity.
- Manage daily field operations, workforce scheduling, and job assignments.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with company standards and local codes.
- Conduct field inspections and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
- Partner with management, construction teams, and other departments to ensure project success.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality control.
- Address customer concerns and resolve escalated service-related issues professionally.
- Track production metrics and field performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation and field operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing field teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and schematics.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and jobsite best practices.
- Experience working with computers, tablets, and mobile technology.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with experience handling escalated customer situations.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in residential HVAC, construction, or related trades.
- Associate degree or equivalent industry experience required.
- Ability to work both in the field and office environments.
- Frequent walking, standing, and movement on active job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to inspect workmanship, materials, and equipment accurately.
