This is an opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative engineering team where you'll help develop next-generation battery technologies from concept through production. You'll work across electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and software disciplines to create rugged energy systems designed for mission-critical applications.

Lead the design and commercialization of advanced rechargeable battery systems from concept through production.

Translate customer requirements into manufacturable battery solutions optimized for performance, reliability, safety, and cost.

Design battery packs, electrical architectures, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.

Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, quality documentation, and safety procedures.

Analyze battery performance using data-driven engineering methods.

Collaborate with cell suppliers, manufacturing partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Support technical proposals, customer demonstrations, and engineering documentation.

Contribute to patents, technical publications, and regulatory documentation.

Mentor junior engineers as the engineering organization continues to grow.

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Hands-on experience designing, testing, and manufacturing lithium-ion battery systems.

Strong understanding of:

Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Battery pack architecture

High-voltage electrical systems
-
Battery safety standards
-
Experience creating:

Electrical schematics
-
Wiring diagrams

Cable drawings
-
System diagrams

Experience designing custom PCBs and/or ASICs.

Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
Experience with one or more of the following:

Manufacturing process development

Startup product development

R&D through production launches

SBIR or government-funded technology programs

CMMC, ITAR, or FedRAMP environments
