Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a dynamic half time (up to full time) Speech Language Pathologist to join our team to provide high-quality, effective instruction/intervention using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate instruction for students prek-grade 12.The successful candidate will: Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in alignment with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and service minutesInterpret and clearly communicate assessment results from evaluations to IEP team members to support eligibility determination and educational planningConduct speech-language evaluations as needed, including assessment, data analysis, and comprehensive report writing across areas such as articulation, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral-motor skillsDevelop and implement individualized, strength-based IEP goals that are student-centered and family-informed to support overall academic and functional successEnsure all evaluations, IEPs, and service delivery comply with district, state, and federal regulations and special education guidelinesCollaborate with teachers and related service providers to promote generalization of communication skills across classroom and school environmentsSupport the development of students communication abilities to enhance their social, emotional, and academic growthCreate and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that responds to diverse student needsAdhere to district and cooperative policies, procedures, and professional standards in all activitiesCommunicate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and community stakeholdersParticipate actively as a collaborative member of the IEP team, including coordination with outside providers and consultants when appropriateStay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology and engage in ongoing professional developmentSalary Range: The anticipated annual salary for this role is $46,738 $90,067, based on experience, level of education. Compensation is determined by the districts collective bargaining agreement, which considers factors such as degree level and years of service. This compensation range is provided in accordance with Vermonts Pay Transparency Law and reflects a good faith estimate. Final salary may vary depending on qualifications, licensure, and other relevant factors
