About the Role
As a Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will spearhead the design and optimization of complex production environments for high-stakes aerospace hardware. You will utilize advanced industrial engineering principles and Lean methodologies to drive operational excellence, ensuring that our manufacturing systems are both scalable and highly efficient.
Responsibilities-
Direct cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, minimize lead times, and optimize facility space utilization through the application of Lean principles.

Develop sophisticated process flow models to analyze system behavior and synchronize production output with organizational requirements.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and implementing data-driven solutions to maximize manpower and equipment efficiency.

Collaborate closely with R&D, quality, and manufacturing engineering departments to refine workspaces and integrate new equipment seamlessly.

Execute strategic process improvements that align directly with long-term operational goals and corporate vision.

Manage capital improvement projects by conducting thorough cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments to justify investments.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field with 14+ years of relevant experience.

Deep expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

Proficiency in analyzing manufacturing data using ERP and MES platforms such as SAP or Oracle.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing Certification, or PMP.

Demonstrated success in budgeting, financial forecasting, and capital project management.

Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
