Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with dealership experience standards to repair GM vehicles or other makes with precision and professionalism.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and auto body repair.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and heavy equipment mechanics with a focus on mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation for accurate troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge of suspension systems including shocks & struts, wheel alignment techniques, and tire service expertise.
- Experience working with powertrain components and performing routine maintenance such as oil changes and vehicle inspections.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.47 - $35.00 per hour
