Title: Aerospace Source Inspector
Job Description:
- The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards (Basic inspection requirements, ability to read a PO, drawing, determine if an FAI has been approved)
- The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5. (This position would need to know how to inspect parts GD&T, knowledge of handheld measuring tools (calipers, mics, etc))
- A checklist will be provided for reference.
- Must pass an open book quiz issued by the customer program
Note:
- It is a part-time assignment (activity is occasional), with possibility for full-time
- Able to support suppliers in the following and surrounding areas: Indianapolis, IN and surrounding states
- Candidate should be willing to travel
- Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time
- W2 contract position to work on as needed basis
