Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Diagnose dental conditions through thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging techniques
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, placement of dental implants, prosthodontic restorations, orthodontic adjustments, and oral surgeries
- Deliver patient-centered care by explaining treatment options clearly and ensuring client communication is empathetic and professional
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations to ensure patient safety
- Utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and efficiently
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by applying knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis principles
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort during procedures
- Assist in dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices as needed
- Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health
- Skilled in performing complex procedures like root canal therapy, dental implants, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Expertise in infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting
- Ability to interpret medical imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or general dentistry preferred
