Position Summary
This is a diverse role that combines specimen collection, front office operations, customer service, and business development. No two days are the same, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and learning new skills.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable, and comfortable interacting with clients both in person and over the phone.
ResponsibilitiesDrug & Alcohol Collections
- Collect urine specimens following DOT and non-DOT procedures
- Perform hair collections
- Conduct DNA specimen collections
- Complete collection paperwork accurately
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures
- Ensure donor privacy and confidentiality
Front Desk / Reception
- Welcome clients and provide excellent customer service
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments
- Verify paperwork and identification
- Process payments
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Enter client information into company software
- Scan and upload documents
Customer Service
- Respond to client inquiries
- Assist employers with scheduling and testing questions
- Follow up with existing customers
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
Sales & Business Development
- Make outbound sales calls to prospective clients
- Contact local businesses, schools, and medical facilities
- Build relationships with employers
- Follow up on marketing campaigns
- Help generate new business opportunities
- Represent the company professionally in the community
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical office experience is a plus
- Drug testing or specimen collection experience is a plus
- Customer service experience required
- Sales experience preferred
- Receptionist or front desk experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers and tablets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid California driver's license with reliable transportation
- Must be able to work in both our Long Beach and Fullerton location
