Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and transporting customer belongings with care and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Carefully pack and prepare items for moving, ensuring protection during transit
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver items to designated locations
- Assist with route driving and coordinate deliveries or pickups according to schedule
- Maintain accurate documentation of items loaded, unloaded, or transferred
- Ensure all belongings are handled with care to prevent damage or loss
- Support warehouse activities such as inventory management and organizing storage areas when needed
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Previous warehouse experience or moving background preferred
- Valid commercial driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the day
- Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols for transporting goods
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with manual transmission vehicles
