Cold Press Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cold Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality pressed products, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement in our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press machinery to produce pressed products according to specified standards and procedures
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation and product quality
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure safety
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Record production data accurately and report any issues or deviations to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve processes
- Assist in setup and changeover of machinery for different production runs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating press or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production schedules
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and proficiency in recording data accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
