Position Overview:
The VP of Resort Operations is responsible for the operation, planning, management and performance of all Hospitality Operations for Mount Airy Casino Resort.
Essential Job Functions:

A minimum of 10 years senior hotel management experience at 4 diamond properties with at least 200 rooms

Knowledge of Four Diamond Restaurant Diamond Rating Guidelines
- Plans, directs, implements and oversees the activities of Hotel Operations to include Housekeeping, Valet, Bellmen, Wardrobe, Guest Services, Convention Sales, Pool and Golf Course.

Experience overseeing Food & Beverage such as casual dining, steakhouses and banquets

Convention Sales experience preferred

Ability to integrate various departments and property amenities into a unified resort experience that can be upsold and marketed to our hotel and convention guests

Strong commitment to guest service experiences. Oversees and makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of providing superior guest service
- Oversees the development of customer service training programs within hospitality operations

Ensures compliance with all internal controls and company procedures with regards to company assets.

Ensures compliance with all Federal and State Laws and the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB)

Ability to hire, staff, train and retain team members

Strong communication skills and ability to work with top management and ownership

Prefer at least a four year college degree
Essential Requirements:

Must be able to perform each of the essential functions and responsibilities satisfactorily.

Must be a minimum 18 years of age or older upon employment.

Polished presentation skills with the ability to facilitate training when required.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, manage and motivate staff.

Proficient computer/PC skills, including Microsoft Office.

Possesses excellent customer service, organizational, written/verbal communication & multi-tasking and problem solving skills.

Strong interpersonal, motivational and leadership qualities required; must be an energetic and creative professional.
- Flexible to work any scheduled shifts and/or days, including weekends and holidays.

Must be a team player who can energize, inspire and lead.

Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Gaming License, as required.
