About Us: SLZ Wholesale is a growing importer and distributor committed to delivering disposable to-go boxes to restaurants over the past 7 years. Because our products are food packaging, most of our cargo consists of lightweight cases (ranging from 2 lbs to 10 lbs, with a maximum weight not exceeding 20 lbs).
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hardworking, and versatile Warehouse Associate who can independently manage and organize our warehouse operations. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who takes ownership of inventory control and efficiency, while also being willing to wear multiple hats—including hitting the road for backup deliveries when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Accurately pick items based on daily order sheets
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load delivery vans/trucks based on the route
- Inventory & Maintenance: Organize stock systematically, perform weekly cycle counts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move pallets and optimize warehouse storage.
- Backup Driving: Serve as a reliable backup delivery driver to deliver togo boxes to local restaurant customers when primary drivers are unavailable.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics environment preferred. Must have a proven ability to work independently and possess strong organizational skills to manage inventory and warehouse layout without constant supervision.
- License: Must possess a valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record.
- Skills: Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification is preferred but not required).
- Physical Ability: Regularly lift and move boxes weighing between 2 lbs and 20 lbs.
- Attributes: Punctual, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with good communication skills.Work Schedule:
