The Atelier School is a new, beautiful, nature-inspired school in Temecula grounded in a European educational philosophy. Our program blends elements of Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia, emphasizing curiosity, creativity, and connection. Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated teacher to support our primary classrooms.
Kindergarten (ages 5–6)
First–Second Grade Combination Class (ages 6–8)
We’re looking for educators who value a holistic approach to learning, appreciate the beauty of childhood, and want to collaborate as part of a close-knit team in a school that honors the natural world and the unique gifts of every child.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required)
- Teaching credential, early childhood certification, or experience in a specified grade
- Experience teaching or assisting in early childhood or lower elementary settings
- Passion for nature-based, whole-child learning approaches
- Strong classroom management, creativity, and collaboration skills
- Warm, patient, and child-centered
Responsibilities:
- Create a calm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Deliver lessons and activities that support academic growth through hands-on, inquiry-based learning
- Observe and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with fellow teachers
- Bring creativity, flexibility, and a growth mindset to a new and evolving school community
